Postdoc Position at the University of Rochester

The Politics and Markets Project (PMP) at the University of Rochester is seeking applicants for the position of Politics and Markets Postdoctoral Fellow for the 2015-16 academic year (with a possibility of renewal for an additional year). The Politics and Markets Project was created by Professor David Primo in early 2014 to foster education, research, and discussion about the relationship between business and government in the 21st century.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in work at the intersection of politics, economics, and business. The PMP is especially interested in applicants whose work focuses on how corporations' market and nonmarket strategies influence or are influenced by government policy and interest group/activist behavior.

The PMP Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of the Political Science Department, where he or she will have an office. There are no teaching responsibilities associated with this position. Applicants must have received their PhDs in political science or political economy between Sept. 1, 2013 and August 31, 2015.

Salary is competitive with other post-doc positions, and the PMP Postdoctoral Fellow is also eligible for a University benefits package as well as a modest research and travel budget.
