*CALL FOR APPLICATIONS*: Editor for Journal of Political Theory and Analysis (JPTA) In detail: http://www.iapss.org/2015/02/25/call-for-applications-editor-for-journal-of-political-theory-and-analysis-jpta/ Deadline for applications: April 1st, 2015 The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) is herewith launching a Call for Applications for the position of *Editor* for the Journal of Political Theory and Analysis (JPTA). The JPTA Editor is a position within the IAPSS Academic Department and will work closely with the Head of the Academic Department. The Journal of Political Theory and Analysis is a common venture between the International Association for Political Science, the E-International Relations (E-IR) website and the Midwest Political Science Association. The journal shall accept submissions from young scholar and early-career academicians and focus on various topics of methodology of social sciences, particularly the methodology of political science and related study fields. The first issue of the journal shall be launched in the autumn of 2016. The four-member editorial team of the journal will be formed during the spring and summer of 2015. IAPSS is looking for its representative on the editorial board. A suitable candidate IS REQUIRED to: * Be a student enrolled in a PhD programme in one of the fields of political science, international relations or public policy, or early stage academicians with a PhD degree obtained no less than 5 years previous; * Have a proven record of academic interest in the methodology of social sciences, demonstrated by their published or presented works. Furthermore, the position demands: * dedication to the job, * strong organizational skills, * an excellent command of the English language, * a high degree of autonomy, * a professional level of communication, * efficient time management, and * the capacity to meet deadlines. The position is – as all other positions within IAPSS – UNPAID and extends for the duration of two years, i.e. until the IAPSS World Congress 2017 scheduled to be held in April 2017. In addition, occupying the position implies that you are a member of IAPSS at the moment of your installment, therefore, if you are not already a member you will be required to apply for membership in case of acceptance. All costs resulting from fulfilling the position, e.g. participation in an IAPSS panel and/or section at an international partner conference are fully covered.
