IG Alpbach Romania invites you to take part in one of Europe's biggest events, taking place in the beautiful region of Tyrol, Austria. The European Forum Alpbach is a platform for open discussions and lectures on burning European issues. It has been taking place for almost 70 years now in the Tyrol region of Austria, in Alpbach. It provides each year the opportunity for young students from all over the world to gain a scholarship to attend the event in August, for 3 weeks, and meet excellent speakers and committed young people. This year's topic is "InEquality", a highly controversial subject. That is why hundreds of participants will gather in Alpbach this summer to discuss its many facets. You can participate in the Seminar week (where you can choose from 16 seminars), take part in the Symposiums or in one of the Summer schools. you can find detailed information on how to apply. The deadline for submitting your application is 31st March 2015 (postmark). ‘The Initiative Group Alpbach Romania’ has been founded in 2013 by an enthusiastic group of students and young professionals. Its main goal is to facilitate, through scholarships, the participation of young Romanians in the annual conference organized by the European Forum Alpbach in Alpbach, Austria in the period 19 August - 4 September 2015.
