The Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET) is calling applications for additional Health Partnership Project Grants. The grants form part of the Health Partnership Scheme (HPS), which is a six-year programme that funds health partnerships to carry out training and capacity-building projects in low- and middle-income countries.
Funding Available
There are two tiers of funding:
£10,000-£99,999
£100,000-£200,000
The objective of this funding stream is to improve health services in low- and middle-income countries by harnessing the skills of UK health professionals to facilitate and/or deliver training and capacity development to the global health workforce. This funding opportunity is to offer a further round of additional support to the health partnership community. It is intended to fund projects strengthening the capacity of the developing country’s health services.
Eligibility Criteria
All established health partnerships are welcome to apply.
Grant recipients are eligible institutions – UK institution must be formally recognized as a health education, regulatory or healthcare delivery institution. This includes Professional Associations.
NGOs are not eligible to apply for this grant stream. Applications must be made by established Health Partnerships
Projects must be operating within low- or middle-income countries
Letters of support from each institution must be submitted along with the application
