Professional Doctorate in Policy Research and Practice

University of Bath Institute for Policy Research

The University of Bath Institute for Policy Research offers a pioneering Doctorate in Policy Research and Practice. The part-time programme is designed to enable busy professionals working in a range of policy arenas to develop their policy analysis expertise, without having to take a full career break. It is fully flexible, with step-off points at the end of year 1 (for a Postgraduate Certificate) and at the end of year 3 (for a Postgraduate Diploma).

• Enables participants to draw on their working experience at the same time as engaging with up-to-date academic research.

• Annual two-week residential to provide networking with other participants.
