The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched the
Winter Youth Olympic Games Medal Design Competition.

The competion aims to select the design for the front side of the medal
for the Lillehammer 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in
Norway from 11 to 15 February 2016. Everyone is invited to join the
competition and get the chance to win a trip to Norway.
Entrants will have to upload and submit their design according to the
process provided on the [ http://www.medaldesigncompetition.com/en/how
]website.

The first prize is a trip for two people to the Lillehammer 2016 Winter
Youth Olympic Games, from 11 to 15 February 2016, including round-trip
flights, accommodation, access to the opening ceremony Games, access to
all the sports events, a souvenir set of official medals and a tablet.

Two runners-up will also receive a tablet.
