ACM PIKM 2015 The 8th Ph.D. Workshop in Information and Knowledge Management in conjunction with CIKM 2015 Melbourne, 23 October 2015 http://www.inf.unibz.it/pikm2015 ----------------------------- IMPORTANT DATES ----------------------------- Full Paper submission due : June 22, 2015 (extended) Notification of acceptance: July 23, 2015 Camera ready submission due: August 7, 2015 Ph.D. Workshop: October 23, 2015 -------------------------------- CALL FOR PAPERS -------------------------------- The PIKM Workshop is for PhD students or Master students aspiring to get a PhD, working in the broad areas of Databases, Information Retrieval, or Knowledge Management. This workshop aims at stimulating feedback from reviewers, together with the general CIKM audience, and facilitating interactions among PhD students. We welcome submissions of ongoing dissertation work. Students at an early stage should address the research issues in their proposal focusing on the challenges in solving them and detailing why existing solutions are not enough. Students at a later stage should be more concrete in describing the contribution of their dissertation, including the proposed techniques to solve the given problems and preliminary experimental evaluation results. -------------------------------- SUBMISSIONS -------------------------------- Manuscripts should be submitted electronically, in PDF format and formatted using the ACM camera-ready templates. Papers cannot exceed 8 pages in length.
