EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking for Lead QA Automation Engineers. Our ideal candidate is a technical consultant able to assist in the scoping, definition, and execution of the complex tasks of automation testing. EPAM expects the QA lead to set up and manage effective communication among the customer's business users, development team, and mid-size offshore QA team, analyze the requirements and translate them into the test cases; look for opportunities to improve the test coverage for both manual and automated tests; reduce time-to-market by improving the testing process and overall product quality. In addition, the QA Lead is expected to be accountable for crafting test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.

Job Responsibilities:
Partnering with customer engineers and stakeholders for achieving common goals and team integration;
Leading a team of several engineers in offshore (both manual and automation testers);
Be hands on lead contributor to cross-project automation framework;
Driving adoption and adaption of new automation and new QA processes;
Working with clients to define high-level quality deliverables;
Creating and maintaining extensive testing framework, both for manual and automated test cases;
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems, reviewing software documentation, planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates;
Examining, validating, and testing large-scale software development and deployment projects;
Creating the overall test strategy and test plans for testing software applications including performance, automation, localization, and internationalization;
Coordinating test strategy with project managers and others;
Participating in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems;
Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.

Requirements
5+ years of software testing and consulting experience;
Hands-on current or past experience building and adopting automation frameworks;
In-depth experience with Selenium or HP QTP, or any other real OO frameworks (not record-playback);
Experience in leading testing teams of at least four engineers as a mix of onshore and offshore resources;
Experience in working with Agile methodologies and practices;
Ability to facilitate and help colleagues (both subsidiaries and peers) to succeed in ongoing Agile transformation and adaptation;
Proven ability to develop test documentation, including test plan, test strategy, test cases, and test results report;
Good working knowledge of SQL, ability to read and write complex SQL scripts;
Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams;
Demonstrated ability to identify and setup tools for Regression testing, Data Validation and Defect tracking.
Fluent English is essential.
Plus Experience
Highly desirable: Test automation experience, preferably with Selenium;
Highly desirable: Experience testing or/and deploying Big Data, non-relational solutions;
Highly desirable: Hands-on experience in testing BI and ETL, including automated testing.
