TRES Social was born in 2011 with the main aim of promoting the use of Social and Political Theatre as a tool of social empowerment.

Professionals in social sciences, pedagogy and arts funded it with the objective to promote social processes based on collective participation through theatre.

TRES Social is leading many social intervention and community development projects in Spain and internationally. It is oriented to facilitate group and community cohesion and social and political participation.

TRES Social’ staff has a large professional experience as social workers and trainers in the framework of Social Theatre and Community Facilitation, especially with young people with less social and economical opportunities.



Background information:



This is an ERASMUS+ Programme Key Action 1 – TRAINING COURSE that aims at developing the competences of youth workers and social workers. The main themes of the project will be intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and the use of creative tools.



Expected partners in the project will have the experience or the interest in working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and an active interest in using creative tools (theatre) in youth and social work.



The methodological approach of the project will be focused on Non-formal education and the working methods will include theatre tools, team building, simulations, debates, working groups, workshops, evaluation sessions and follow-up activities.



Objectives of the project:



· To deepen in sharing tools and artistic methodologies for initiatives related to artistic community development

· To support cultural consciousness in participants and their intercultural learning development.

· To provide tools of intervention that can be applied in social contexts

· To propose to participants a clear methodological approach based on theatre and creativity to improve the impact of their social initiatives.

· To share among participant’s tools that can be used in different social contexts in their countries to promote social inclusion

· To promote new networking youth initiatives based on performing arts and creativity as tools for social transformation



What a Partner should do:



· To support the selection of participants for the training course with the following profile: artists, youth workers/leaders with an experience in working with performance.

· To prepare the participants for the project.

· To co-operate in each stage of the project.

· To promote project results.

· To sign and send by email partnership agreement and all required documents



How to be a partner:



Please send the attached forms as soon as possible, we would like to draft the first project proposal next week and it would be better if we had the info on partners at hand.
