The second edition of Planning the Cycling City, 19 June - 8 July 2016 www.uva.nl/summer-cycling-city This graduate level programme will explore urban cycling from a Dutch perspective, both historical and current, and provide students with a host of skills on how to develop and foster cycling cities and insights on what this means. The 4th edition of the Urban Studies: Planning & Living Cities, 3 July - 22 July 2016 www.uva.nl/summer-urban-studies The programme will take place at the University of Amsterdam, a city that represents the perfect context in which to study Planning & Living Cities. Open to graduate students and undergraduates in the final phase of their studies and. The course comprises a three-week long programme in which students will explore the fundamental issues that shape the development and evolution of cities in the 21st century. The 20th edition of the Summer Institute on Sexuality, Culture and Society, 10 July - 5 August 2016www.uva.nl/summer-sexuality During this four-week advanced programme, students will gain knowledge of sexuality as it intersects with ethnicity, nationality, class, and religion, and will become more familiar with how sexuality is conceptualized and practiced within research, programmatic, and advocacy venues.
