5th BLUE BLACK SEA INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS will be held in İstanbul, Turkey, on 12-13 December 2016 with cooperation of Marmara University, Faculty of Political Science, Department of International Relations and WISE MEN Center for Strategic Studies.

The main theme of this international and interdisciplinary conference is “BLACKSEA POLITICAL ECONOMY AND REGIONAL SECURITY” and it aims to provide a platform for the in depth analysis from every aspect of political economy and regional security in the black sea hinterland by bringing together a range of academics and practitioners.
To present a paper at the conference, an abstract in English or in Turkish (max. 300 words) should be sent through CMT, which is a conference management service sponsored by Microsoft Research. By creating an account at our conference CMT site (https://cmt3.research. microsoft.com/BBS2016) you can submit your abstract. Applicants can submit/present a paper in English or in Turkish. A simultaneous translation service from/to English – Turkish will be provided.

The conference is also open to non-paper presenters and we would encourage participation from non-academic sectors such as civil society, private sector, national authorities and the media.
Congress participation is free of charge for both participants and audiences!
