The Netherlands attaches great value to justice cooperation because it contributes to mutual trust and the well-functioning of EU policy areas such as the area of freedom, security and justice. This ambition has translated in cooperation between embassies in Bucharest, Sofia and Budapest to invest in bilateral or regional cooperation in the field of justice between the Netherlands and Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Hungary. For our team in Bucharest we are recruiting a policy advisor for a temporary role up to summer 2017. You will be in charge of project management, information gathering, analysis, reporting and networking in the area of justice, and anti-corruption. In addition, you will support the Regional Coordinator for Justice Cooperation where necessary. On a daily basis you will be working in the political cluster of the Embassy in Bucharest. You should have knowledge of and affinity with justice matters/law, and public administration. The staff member should be pro-active, be able to work independently and willing to travel occasionally as deemed necessary.
